HomeAbout MeOct 28, 2007
I share a birthday with Gloria Grahame and Randy Newman and Joe Dante -- not to mention Dawn Powell. I was born the same year and in the same town as novelist Dennis Cooper.

I seek good music, good performative art (film. theater, etc.), and good sex (preferably male/male and kinky) ... and not necessarily in that order! Wave a recording by Sarah Vaughan, say, or a script by John Guare in front of me and I'm sure to start smiling.

I'm equally unashamed of my faith (Episcopalian, leaning to Anglo-Catholic) and my sex interests (queer, with a plus sign next to both "bear" and "bdsm") And anyone who doesn't like that ... can dig a big hole and go jump in it. Extra Note: I'd love to "connect" with all of yuh, but ... I usually think twice about doing so with anyone whose profile doesn't clarify that he/she is over 21.

It was proposed, in a 'net group I belong to, as a "Do you think this would work?" kind of fantasized remake.

What's equally odd, though -- but *genuine* -- is Michael John LaChiusa's upcoming musicalization of the movie GIANT, The Signature Theatre has announced it. Me, my head reels at the notion.

I suggested to a friend that the Mercedes McCambridge role should be played by Lea DeLaria. His reponse? That the James Dean role should go to Audra McDonald ...
